Mentor/Manager
JOB DESCRIPTION
REPORTS TO:
SUPERVISES
- Customer Service Rep (as needed)
PRIMARY FUNCTIONS
- Help customers activate machines and find software
- Help customers when something goes wrong
- Help customers choose appropriate courseware/game/software
- Suggest training class as appropriate
- Instruct formal classes as requested according to qualifications
- Assist with parties and tournaments as requested
- Act as Manager on Duty when Center Director is off-site
- Other duties as assigned
WORK HOURS
- Projected: 4-7 hours per day, 5 days per week, floating (24-26 hours per week)
- Shifts: Varied
- Assisting with parties, as requested
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS (Education and/or Background)
- Experience and comfort with computers and technology
- Experience troubleshooting and supporting computers, printers, Windows, MS Office applications
- Experience as mentor, teacher, or formal trainer
- Experience using a variety of office applications, school courseware, and online games
- Experience in retail management
- Excellent communications skills
- English-speaking
- At least 16 years of age

SALARY RANGE
- $10-12 per hour, depending on experience
